SIA Valmiermuižas Alus

Valmiermuižas alus is a small brewery located in an estate near Valmiera. Its goal is to develop beer-tasting culture in Latvia, and return this drink to the festive table. The brewery entered the market in spring 2009. 100% of the Valmiermuižas alus shares belong to SIA Valmiermuižas ieguldījumu fonds, founded with the long-term goal of developing the Valmiermuiža brand, promoting Valmiermuiža as a destination for gourmet tourism and fostering the exports of the Valmiermuižas alus beer. 60% of the SIA Valmiermuižas ieguldījumu fonds shares belong to the owner of the brewery, Aigars Ruņģis, 24% to the Austrian investment fund, Industrieliegenschaftenvervaltungs AG (ILAG), and 16% — to the Austrian company Alcor.
